Horseshoe Trail to Stoney Valley is wooded, open field, some hills, rail bed in sections. Stoney in places and do recommend shoes.
Leisurely ride ..walk-- mostly trotting, cantering where able. (but dont have to).
Pack a lunch, rain gear, plenty of water along the trail for horses.
About 4hrs. Beautiful views, good trail.
Meet point at Mcleans Bridge off rt. 443/west of Penn National race course (email for exact directions).. easy trailer parking and turning
Horses to borrow for experienced riders.
