We have a small private equine rescue here in NY. (We are not 501c3, and we are not asking for donations for our rescue.)
We are loaning three of our rescue horses to three local kids to show as ambassadors for equine rescue. I have loaned out my extra saddle and a show bridle to one, but the other two still need a few things. Anyone cleaning out useable show clothing or tack that would like to find it a good home where it will be appreciated, please contact me. I will pay shipping if you wish. These kids want to show what "rescue" horses can do, that they are not throwaways. Local shows only, so we don't need fancy - just safe and decent for small shows. Both western and english can be used!

Oh gosh, I wish I would have seen this a few weeks ago.... I just gave a bunch of old tack to one of my students who has horses at home. Let me see if I can find anything else around....what types of things do you need specificially? Tack, clothing, supplies?

Women's M shirt, size 8 pants, size 9 boots
Children's 14-16 shirt, size 12 pants, size 6 women's boots
Women's M shirt, got the rest on this one 'covered'...
Horse size headstall (medium oil) western
colors: pale blue, hunter green, hot pink, chocolate, ivory, metallic gold, teal/chocolate/white

I have misc. pieces (wool saddle pads, chocolate jeans for one, hot pink jacket, pale blue slinky) but nothing really goes together. Trying to pull together a complete outfit for each one, including saddle pad... Have a hunter green set, but need black size 8 pants to complete.
My own daughter is wearing last year's set, so nothing to hand down.

PM me if you still need stuff. I have all kinds of bridles, blankets, saddle pads, girths, etc. etc. Was going to just chuck it, or try and sell it on craigslist, but I can put some together and mail it if you want.
