    Default Probation For iPod-Using Trainer

While different methods have been used over the years to try to get horses to race better, a trainer is now on probation for trying to qualify a horse equipped with an iPod.
Horseman Myles Heffernan of Glace Bay, N.S. was recently placed on six months probation for "misconduct prejudicial to the best interest of racing" by the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission in an attempt to qualify pacing gelding Camarkable.......

    Rest of the story here

And I thought I had heard everything.....

I like to run while listening to music myself! Why not horses? Though I do wonder at the rationale behind equipping the horse with an iPod.

I wish the story had another ending, though. Wouldn't it be fun if Camarkable were allowed to wear the iPod and he turned into a complete superstar with it?

If he was making him listen to Kenny G., then he needs to be put on notice! That's animal abuse plain and simple.
Thus do we growl that our big toes have,
at this moment, been thrown up from below!
