We let dd show her pony in the green ponies for her section at one show this year, thinking she was ready to move up. She wasn't, and it was a disaster. I was reading the rules to see if we can have his green year reinstated, and I am a tad confused due to the wording:
A horse’s or pony’s green status may be reinstated for a future competition year if it was
not shown at the regulation height at more than three (3) competitions prior to May 15th and
if it was not shown at that height after May 15th in the same year.
So are these two conditions linked together? The show she rode in began May 12th, and it was the only show they did at regulation height for the greens. I think the show ended on the 16th, so are we out of luck because of 1 day, or does it go off of the day the show started?
**UPDATE** Marion responded to my question very quickly! The answer is for the one show we did go to, it is based off the start date of the competition. So we are okay to apply to reinstate the pony's green status, since the show started on 12 May.
Thanks for directing me to the right email contact!
