Actually I thought the ESPN stuff was a great improvement. Mr Gill would be well advised to seek the help of somebody else to help him as it seems to get articulated much better that way.

    More good news!!!!!!

At long last they're finally going after some people on the front side. Not that there aren't still more cockroaches that need extermination in the barn areas but for the most part as I see it most of that track's problems are from the top down. Commission included. It's good to see the feds starting to move in that direction.
    Thanks Ray Paulick

PA racing really is a law unto itself...
    Yeah,
BTW, did anybody recieve a ballot to vote in their latest HBPA election? Last time this happened people went to jail over it in Louisiana but as usual teflon PA nothing stuck to.

Somebody jump on that Camp Hill accounting firm of theirs before they have a chance to again destroy the ballot count results

Oh no, Illinois too!!! Say it ain't so folks!

A little historical perspective always reaffirms "the business as usual perspective."

It's be like this for a long time.

I miss Dick Hertz. He told the truth about racing.
Thanks to all who are keeping his thread alive.

Still around. Been a bit busy.
Any of you see this one?

Seems it wasn't just trainers who were buying their licenses

And of course who can forget about the HBPA Treasurer they found floating in the river? Dead of natural causes. Nothing to see here folks. Just keep moving. Business as Usual

Far be it from me to be one to harp about something but can anybody tell us what was concluded by their investigation?
I mean even if it's perfectly normal to find missing people floating in a river in March, what ever happened to the missing money?

How about it Mr Mosteller and all the Penn National apologists? Inquiring minds want to know...........

And for those of you who just can't get enough.....
We have the long awaited Murray Rojas trial about to get underway.
As I understand it they're not offering her any deals. Her they want to take to court so unless something happens pretty soon she'll be going away.

Question is will the racing office accept collect calls from locked up trainers to enter horses? Or in her case continue to allow her husband to keep program training for her?
    Never a dull moment folks

I am on my phone so it was hard to read that document. It looks like they are charging her with conspiracy for bad tests? Is that right? If so this better be the first domino to fall and not one person they singled out. If one trainer is guilty of conspiracy for a bad test then we all are. I have no issue with the charges but they need to be across the industry. Also knowing both Murray and Eddie it has long been my belief that she has been program training for him all these years. Maybe there is the real conspiracy.

WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE MISSING MONEY??????????
Somebody was freaking murdered! It's been 4 months where are the results of their damned investigation??????????

Congrats to our man Dick Hertz. He has a few horses running pretty well for him this year. Glad to see him enjoying some success. Him and his family certainly deserve it.
