Looking through the April Practical Horseman and came across an ad for WEG using the tag line "Not showing up would be un-Equestrian-American". Being that attenting is very costly, I don't believe that this is a fair angle to play. Thoughts?
Oh my, playing the patriotic-duty card are they ?
Well then USEF should pay for us to go,
and those who don't get fined.

Considering how many angles one COULD come up with to promote the games, it's disappointing at best. Geez, there's not even any rhythm to that awkwardness.
Now promoting sale horses from North Carolina to the Netherlands. Follow us on Facebook.
Wow, completely clunky and not clever.
"No, not anything goes, I said no rules!"
That sums it up for me.
Here's a new line for them.
"The WEG Experience. We made it so expensive that you won't have to worry about hob-nobbing with the little people."
Nojacketrequired I like your slogan. Especially in this economy. If it comes down to a ticket or feed my horse for a month, he wins.
Ha ha. That is soo stupid. *shrugs sholders* If I worried about what every sales person thought I'd be on that new TV show hoarders by now! You can't please everybody and I'm not going to try.
Timothy, stop lurking
I'm not sure that the WEG Foundation (especially their marketing dept) is made up of horse people to be honest.
I just bought my tix and I am EXTREMELY excited!!
"I can't help but wonder, what would Jimmy Buffett do?"
