I don't know if you have heard of this group, but they are doing some super work I thought you might want to know about. I'm not affiliated in any way other than that I think the program is a good one and support it.

Operation Silver Spurs is a program for returning vets that supports all sorts of aide to help these folks get back to their lives. They have a very interesting program of their own put together by a third generation horseman who is also a third generation veteran.

In addition to their own work, they help other groups too... in particular the Caisson Platoon which works with vets at Walter Reed providing equine PT by riding and driving the horses of the Caisson Platoon - which are part of the Army's Old Guard who are tasked with guarding the tombs of the unknowns and with providing military honors at Arlington Cemetary.
