Ok, we've had our farm for 4 years now and still don't have a name for it! I'd love some suggestions/ideas.
We are located in the PNW - so the property has lots of tall, big evergreen trees (Cedars, Firs, etc). It is mostly wooded, plus it has a big open valley with some willows and a pond. When we got it, you couldn't even walk through the tangled/overgrown mess. Now it's starting to actually look like a proper horse farm, so I think we're ready for a name at last. I'd love to have the name have something to do with woods, forest, trees.
Here are some of our fav ideas so far:
Black Tree Farm
Blackwood Farm (we really like this one, but when I googled it, I found out that it is also - unfortunately - the title of an Anne Rice book, so people would never be able to find us in a search)
Here are some other farm names (of existing barns that I know) that I like, to give you an idea of what we're looking for:
4 Star Farm (we are eventers)

But after doing a little googling and reading the following I now love the idea of Golden Spruce Farm. As an eventer the name provides you with natural colors: green and gold. Logo, too. Of course, you will have to plant a sitka spruce on the property somewhere!
Crestline is already a fairly well known farm with a wonderful Pinto WB stallion.
Yes, I know - they are in our area. That second list was of *already existing* farms (mentioned just as examples of names that we like).

That may help narrow the name down.
We really want to use a mossy green, a harvest yellow, tan or orange - plus black in the logo. When we were thinking of using Blackwood Farm (before I googled it), I wanted to use a black silouette of a tree with color in the background. My cross country colors are black and tan.
So far, I like 'Cedar Ridge Farm' - that's a good one. I've also toyed with the idea of 'Mossy Rock Farm' or 'High Tide Farm' (since we are in Puget Sound). Maybe something to do with rain?
TimberRidge Sporthorses .. hey, that's us! I named our business, so thanks for the compliment!
I also like the idea of Golden Spruce Farm. It would allow you to use a golden tan. I think it also ties in nicely with the fact that Yeager's a buckskin and your foundation stallion. I know he's not a "golden" buckskin, but still..
Thinking along the lines of what you said and considering that your preferences are mostly "Farm" ending as opposed to Stables, Acres, etc..
Cedar Line Farm
Great Fir Farm [I dunno, tho, "fir" is just a weird word for me]
Rain Tree Farm [Although Raintree might be a better idea, so people don't think you are a Tree Farm titled Rain]
Lost Pond Farm
Pine Ridge Place
