I have one stallion who would be suitable. Arts Aero is a wonderful jumper up to 1.3m so far. I have evented him myself and he is SUPER brave and easy. I am particularly interested in this thread and it is very timely for me as my lovely retired CCI** mare is being bred to A Fine Romance very soon. I have HIGH hopes for that baby and Gail is a pleasure to work with. I was a bit concerned about doing a full TB for marketability factors (IF, big if, I would have to sell) but I have spoken to many knowledgeable local breeders who are extremely excited to see what this combination produces.

I'm already getting way ahead of myself and thinking of going a half-WB route next year as I'm particularly impressed by Future Illusion and Catherstone Dazzler. But knowing what Fred produces I'll probably be silly not to rebreed

There are some nice stallions suggested here but if you're looking to breed yourself an Advanced eventer from a TB mare, you should go with a stallion who produces Advanced eventers from TB mares.

Well, I can update that Fleetwater Opposition is no longer available in the United States! after Opposition Buzz was named to the British Olympic team all 5 remaining doses were sold out.

I am very lucky to have one of the last and only Fleetwater Opposition foals in the united states (there are only a handfull of others) even with his proven track record and have half a dose left hopefully for one or two more in the future if I have the opportunity.

Nootka - I'll answer for the OP hhfarm.

Since this 2009 post, we've put babies on the ground by Catherston Dazzler, Fleetwater Opposition, Riverman, Contuci (for dressage), Fabuleaux, Consul, and second generation Windfall out of TB mares (several multiple times) with our preferred eventing bloodlines. We love the results, and are constantly amazed at how DIFFERENT they are! We would recommend all of these stallions based on our produce - but they do throw very different foals.

We hosted a young event horse challenge for our students this summer, and gave each of them a 3 yo from the 2009 crop to back. Here's the grand finale after 2 months of work on their own time (all fillies, by Nightfall (Windfall), Fabuleaux, and Monarchos) to show you how different they are.

Tentatively, they're going to their first (schooling) dressage show at the end of October.
