We got a new barn kitty today from a lady in Western PA, near Finleyville, PA.
She had rescued two pregnant Mommies in the early spring and is now stuck with 14 nice kittens.
Moms were tested for Feline Leukemia, had shots, etc.
Kittens were born in May and June so they are ready for barn life or couch life :-)
All cats were well taken care of and treated for fleas, etc.
This woman has her heart in the right spot but really needs to find home for these guys. Anybody out there in need of another mouser or furry friend?
Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org for her info, I told her I'd put the word out.
She doesn't want to give them to a shelter in fear of them being destroyed, which I understand.
Kitties were all super friendly (being handled a lot), in good weight and looked super healthy.
I will call my family and friends and see if anyone needs a kitty. I have a cousin in Finleyville on Churchill and my family steel plant is down past the farmers market..dangit, I forget the name..is that Trax out there? It is Walter F. Long steel. Anyhow, will see if anyone is needing one!
