I have a bangle from Solenaro Designs and I couldn't love it more than I do - it's gorgeous! And he was very easy to work with!
Based on the ones I've been in and how much I liked them, I'd agree that they tend to run on the narrow side twist-wise :)
I've been finding a lot of the Kerrits zippered polos on ebay for like $10 - I love those things! They wick away the sweat like mad and look pretty nice.
Crossing my fingers for you, and can't wait to hear the report!!
38 years old here and I totally wear my JR8 as a show helmet - no one's been all "OMG! YOU'RE WEARING A KIDS' HELMET!!" It's not like it has My Little Ponies on it. Wear what first your head and is...
(aside - so jealous that you're getting that saddle - that's the one I'm lusting after!)
I bought one from one of the other forums w/ classifieds and the trial info was included in the PayPal invoice - saddle didn't fit me, sent it back w/in the time frame, refunded without a problem!...
CUTE!! Congrats - to both of you!
Ribbed Tuffriders - love them!
It may not be their fault (well, not entirely) - sometimes it takes your credit card company up to a billing cycle to process refunds.
OP - ask at your local tack store (if you have one now!) for a tailor rec - they usually know someone good to do the work!
Failing that, look for either a suit person!
TuffRider - the ribbed ones in Long! Also the Kerrits Flex and F-Low Rise seem to run long despite not being marked as such!
(hahah - didn't realize that this thread was old, and that I had already said use ILL back in 2009!)
As an ILL librarian, yes! PLEASE use your library's ILL system! We love helping you! :)
Their shipping IS insane, but considering how close I am, I get things pretty much second day so look at the shipping as for that and it's worth it :) However, outside of their local area? Yeah,...
I found it over the weekend - it was pretty good!
Tuffrider Aerocool - and if you hate them you only wasted like $40.
Oh really? That's a shame - like I said, my mom was there YEARS ago and it was a great place. Neither of us have been there in awhile -my mom runs into Brenda around the area and she's always been...
Coggin Creek is west of Springfield, so MAY be doable depending on where you end up living - http://www.coggincreek.com/
My mom boarded there years ago and still knows Brenda, who is great.
Jeez, I'm back to riding after only a year break and I haven't even CANTERED yet! Can't imagine trying to do a 2' line! So don't beat yourself up over it!
That said, TWO POINT. And up-up-down and...
I've found the Fatbaby line, at least, runs big - I have a pair of those and a pair of (old) Ariat paddocks (so old I don't remember the model) and both are 11s, but the Fatbaby is def longer in the...
I'm a girl, but just about 6' with a 36" inseam which is pretty much all thigh. The Smith Worthington plain flap Avalon is what I have - it's not _quite_ fwd enough, but they do have an extra-fwd...
Mountain Horse! Whatever the one below the Supremes are - High Rider, I think?
Yup, same here, save a schooling show a season, maybe.
And I've noticed the same - there may be 1-2 other women my age, but mostly it's juniors or women 10-15 years older. It's that way at my new...
