Loved the story, but LOVE the chicken costume even more!!...the expression completes it!http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gifhttp://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gifhttp://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gif
P.S. Emmie is a great name. I have a chestnut "Emmy" mare myself! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_wink.gif
RR - that's one cute pony (no wonder she wants to stay with THAT chicken!! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...on_biggrin.gif). And to pay for fancy schmancy new pony home, RR must submit that sample of writing for new novel.
My office does not condone such hilarity at this time of the morning! (It's too damn hard to smother my giggles when it's so quiet.)
We need more stories about the $700 pony, the play group (I'd get on the trailer too if that mass was bearing down on me!), and the Psycho Mutt.
Now must find the Kleenex so I can wipe away my tears of mirth before they drown my keyboard....
Lorree
Reynard Ridge, love it!!! Must have updates!!! Please!!
OMG! You are TOO funny! A great writer too! Thanks for the updates, let us know how everything goes...
Cute pony too!
Great story! I loved it! Yes 2 year old toddlers are the same as young 2 year olds on the track! ha ha!
Your children are gorgeous too by the way! Beautiful kids and I love your pony! We need a picture of PM now!
Happy you all liked it.
I've been lurking on this forum for YEARS and am glad to finally provide some entertainment for those who have entertained me for so long.
The PM is FINE. She is practically indestructable, much to my chagrin. I promise, no children or animals were injured in the writing of this story. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif
I needed that laugh. A whole day of dealing with my PMS'ing sick pre-teen has left me a bit worn.
Wow, there are tears in my eyes. That's the first thing I've ever read my husband that had the word "pony" in it that actually made him smile. http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gif You have a gift.
I LOVE IT!! Totally needed a good smile/laugh today - thanks.

Very well told! I hope it is chapter one of the adventures of PM, the human weanlings, and the $700 Pony...
any updates on the $700 pony!? Hasshe moved out of his chicken-friend's house? lol.
Yes, she's moved, thanks for asking!
And she's very happy, indeed!
Video at 11. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif
Oh, I think she should stay at home! She MUST miss her chickens!!!
I also think this should be a book - with illustrations...
That story was fantastic, i was laughing my butt off. your children are beautiful!
The heck with mere articles in The Chronicle (exalted though it is), why not go to Half Halt press? If they can commission a book from UDBB posts (see the dressage forum) why not from you? I'm sure SO many people would enjoy knowing they're not alone in their horse mania, mistakes and mastery! I'll take the first few copies!
How's the $700 pony doing at the fancy-shmancy stable?!?! Can't wait for the next "installment"

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I needed a laugh like that!
If you haven't written a book yet, you should start! http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/yes.gif
