That's great to see! and great to see that Lillie Keenan too won a class (1.40m) at her first international show over the weekend in Ascona,...

Add me as confused, because I remember when Beth Underhill couldn't take Monopoly to the Olympics because he would be too old despite being happy/fit...

I think the 18 only applies to Championships like the WEG and Olympics. In jumping the horse has to be between 9 and 18 to compete at those. But for...

That was a fun list! Not only does she have a TB but an offspring of Heisman (Nostalgia)! Loved, LOVED that horse with Michael Matz. Always thought...

I have to agree with this! I was rather horrified that most of the riders did a leg yield when asked to half-pass. Not that I rode much in the big...

Totally agree. Both are great riders, but IMO Lillie has the edge when it comes to stylish equitation. Doesn't make Tori any less of a rider though...

You're right, Tori is the naturally good rider who work hard for all her rides. Not related to Betsee at all :) I would sure like to be though lol...

and we can probably add Clearway to the list: he won 2 finals with Lillie last year, and has now been sold to Betsee Parker! I imagine he'll be...

Wow. Can you imagine the price tag?!? I can't imagine Andre parting with that horse easily! If the owner is still listed as Heritage Farm,...

About Janeway
Location:
West Coast of Canada
Occupation:
Office Manager
Interests:
cooking (and eating the results!), reading, movies
Biography:
A bit of a science fiction geek (my favourite show is Battlestar Galactica) who still retains a passion for horses. Favourite discipline is 3-day Eventing, and had the pleasure of attending Badminton while it was still traditional.

I still mourn the loss of my first horse, and am hoping to have another one some day. But in the meantime I've poured my affection into two SPCA rescues: "Chewey" a small, timid black and white cat and "Ella" a big agouti rabbit with a diva personality.
