UB40

UB40 is a successful FEI horse and one of the most sought after stallions. In 2015, he was ranked 8th as the sire of dressage horses by USEF.

His Grand Prix offspring include the Approved stallion Apache, who was named to the Dutch Olympic A squad after winning four Grand Prix classes with scored as high as 78% in 2015. Alain Delon SB is also winning Grand Prix in Europe. Another Approved Stallion sired by UB40 is El Capone, who claimed first place overall in the five-year-old division of the KWPN stallion competition in 2014.

Other winning FEI offspring by UB40 include Beijing A, who competed at the 2015 Pan American Games, as well as Clapton JP, Be Cool, and SLI Adaigo.

In 2015, four UB40 sons and daughters won GAIG/USDF Regional Championships or Reserves, including U Rock who won both the 1st level and 2nd level Championships in Region II. U Rock won 10 classes in 2015 with scores as high as 80%.

Eye Candy was named Champion at the US Dressage Finals in the 2nd Level Freestyle Amateur division with a 76.66%. She also was Reserve Champion at 2nd Level Amateur and finished in 3rd place in 3rd Level Amateur.

Other 2015 standouts included UB-42 who won nine FEI Young Horse classes and Forty, who won the Dutch National Champoinships 4-year-old division with a score of 80.8.

In 2014, UB40’s offspring earned numerous blue ribbons and year-end awards. His son Imperata was named Champion Colt at Dressage at Devon. Seven UB40 offspring earned KWPN-NA Top Five awards, including the North American Dressage Stallion/Gelding Champion, Godot SSF. As a dressage horse, UB40 moved consistently up the levels from the young horse classes to the FEI ring with many high score awards in good company. His exceptional elasticity and movement made him a truly modern performance horse.
