A Celebration and Symposium of Thoroughbreds in Second Careers

February 24, 2014-Lexington, Kentucky- This year’s Thoroughbreds For All event star line up will include: Olympic dressage rider Linda Zang, Pan American Games eventing gold medalist Lynn Symansky, and Kentucky Oaks winning jockey Rosie Napravnik.  All three will share their experience in working with retired racehorses to an expected crowd of over 600 Thoroughbred enthusiasts.

Wellington, Florida – Alison Cooney claimed victory in the $15,000 High Amateur-Owner Classic held February 22 at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.  For wearing SSG ‘Digital’ riding gloves on her way to the win, Cooney also picked up a $1,000 bonus in the SSG Gloves “Go Clean for the Green” promotion in recognition of her loyalty to the SSG brand.

Wellington, FL - February 21, 2014 - Laura Kraut and Cherry Knoll Farm's Cedric rode to a top three finish out of a field of 115 contenders yesterday during the $125,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup Round 7 held at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF). The 15-year-old grey gelding completed a quick and tidy jump off to nab third place in a time of 42.96 seconds for Section B of the "California Split."

Joe Fargis and Lariat Ride to Wellington Turf Tour 1.30m-1.35m Victory at Deeridge Farms

Wellington, FL - February 19, 2014 - The competition was fierce today at Deeridge Farm as the Wellington Turf Tour got underway with a field of more than 50 competitors. Joe Fargis and Lariat took the win for the first class of the day, tripping the timers in 28.269 seconds. Linda Sheridan rode Invitational to the victory in the second 1.30m-1.35m Jumper class in a time of 32.144 seconds.
