The Chicago Hunter Derby Announces Judges Panel for 2014

Antioch, IL - May 26, 2014 - The Chicago Hunter Derby presented by Chicago Equestrians for a Cause is pleased to announce the judges panel for this year's derby to be held September 5 -7th, 2014 at the beautiful Annali-Brookwood Farm in Antioch, IL. The prestigious derby is now in its sixth year of producing one of the best stand-alone derby events in the country while raising money for local charities. The event features a $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby sponsored by Canadian Pacific and a $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby.

ReRun Announces eBay® Auction Of Moneighs By Triple Crown Race Winners

Did you know 12 of the past 20 Kentucky Derby winners have created Moneigh® paintings?  A Moneigh® is an original, abstract, watercolor painting made by equines using  the muzzle, whiskers, tail, hoof, or paintbrush held in the artist’ teeth. The name is trademarked by ReRun and derived from the name of a famous artist and the sound a horse makes.  Over 1,300 paintings have been completed  since the project began in 2001.  ReRun is a non- profit program that assists Thoroughbreds in finding second careers after racing.

George H. Morris Gladstone Program Concludes Exemplary Week at USET Foundation's Hamilton Farms

Gladstone, NJ - May 25, 2014 - The final day of the George H. Morris Gladstone Program came to a conclusion today at the USET Foundation Headquarters at Hamilton Farms. Legendary horseman, George Morris, pushed the 10 riders to their fullest potential in the flat and gymnastics phases, being as forward as the seat he advocates. The riders were tested through training in classical dressage, as well as over a full course featuring a water jump, liverpool, airy verticals, and a dodgy triple combination.
