Sarah Chappell Armentrout Elected to the USEF Para- Equestrian High Performance Committee

Lexington, KY  - November 14, 2014- This Fall 2014, Sarah Chappell Armentrout was elected to the USEF Para- Equestrian High Performance Committee. This position is a four-year appointment effective retroactively to December 3, 2012. The Committee meets throughout the year to discuss both high performance and national level matters affecting the Para-Equestrian discipline.  The Para-Equestrian High Performance Committee's responsibilities are outlined in Bylaw 504, Section 1.

Millbrook Horse Trials Donates $2,500 To Pine Plains Food Locker

MILLBROOK, N.Y. (Nov. 11) – The Millbrook Horse Trials, a non-profit organization that runs the largest equestrian event of its kind in the Northeast, has donated $2,500 to the Pine Plains Community Food Locker (PPCFL) to support area families in need. 

“This is a very significant and generous donation for which we are very appreciative,” said Patricia Nannetti, who heads PPCFL. “This will provide more than a month’s worth of supplies” to support local families in need of food or other critical assistance,” Nannetti said.

USHJA Announces Recipients of Prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award

Ali Wolff Named Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for October

Lexington, KY- November 5, 2014 - Ali Wolff of New Albany, OH has been named the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for October. 

Wolff competes in the East Conference Amateur-Owner division of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series. Wolff earned the award by winning The Show Jumping Hall of Fame class at The Pennsylvania National Horse Show aboard her horse Brianda.
