10 U.S. Combinations Ready for Adequan Global Dressage Festival CDI5*

Lexington, Ky. - A strong contingent of 10 U.S. athlete-and-horse combinations are set to compete in the CDI5* taking place February 4-8 during week five of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Fla. The following athlete-and-horse combinations will be representing the U.S. in the CDI5* (listed in alphabetical order):

Michael Barisone (Long Valley, N.J.) and Virginia Alling's HF Victor

HF Victor is a 2002 Trakehner gelding.

Adrienne Lyle Announces Retirement of Wizard

Wellington, FL - January 22, 2015 - United States dressage competitor Adrienne Lyle has announced the retirement of Wizard, her Olympic and World Equestrian Games partner. The 16-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Weltmeyer-Pica, Classiker) is owned by Peggy Thomas.

Highlights of Lyle and Wizard's long partnership include representing the United States at the 2012 London Olympic Games as well as at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, where they contributed to a fourth place team finish. They were the 2008 Brentina Cup champions.
