Canada’s David Marcus Finishes Second at CDI3* Verden

Verden, Germany – Canadian Olympian David Marcus scored a personal best to finish second to Steffen Peters of the United States in Grand Prix competition held August 9 at CDI3* Verden, Germany.  Marcus is preparing to represent Canada at the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games from August 23 to September 7 in Normandy, France.

Australian Horseman and Entertainer, Guy McLean Returns to Dressage at Devon 2014

Devon, PA – Life-long horseman and stuntman, Guy McLean, will appear at the 2014 Dressage at Devon Horse Show on September 26 though September 28 at the Devon Show Horse Grounds, Devon, PA. Exhibits will take place each day of the performance show.

5 August, 2014 -- Scottsville, VA -- ETB Equine Construction of Scottsville, VA is thrilled to announce that they have signed a contract, in cooperation with Greg Schlappi, of Landrum, SC to build the cross-country course for the 2015 Pan-Am Games in Toronto. The Games will take place at Will O'Wind Farm, Jeff and Ann Morgan's farm in Ontario, and will be designed by Wayne Coping from Australia.

    Horse Shows by the Bay Announces 2014 Ovation Leading Rider and Trainer Awards

    Two parent/child duos captured Ovation Leading Riders titles together. 

    Traverse City, MI - August 4, 2014 - With the conclusion of the 2014 Horse Shows by the Bay Equestrian Festival, the Ovation Leading Rider Awards were finalized.

    After four weeks of competitive hunter/jumper action in the resort town of Traverse City, 12 riders and trainers earned the most points in out of their respective section to earn the coveted title, a beautiful sash and a $500 English Riding Supply gift certificate.

    Barrios is Best with Antares in $50,000 Kentucky Summer Grand Prix at Kentucky Summer Classic

    Lexington, KY - August 2, 2014 - If the $50,000 Kentucky Summer Grand Prix sponsored by GGT Footing is any indication of how the Venezuelan team will perform at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy France, then they look very strong. Pablo Barrios' rule of the Rolex Stadium at the Kentucky Horse Park continued as he piloted Antares to blazing double clear victory, while fellow Venezuelan rider Angel Karolyi took home the second place honors aboard Indiana 127, just shy of Barrios' winning time.
