EQUUS Foundation & USEF Congratulate Devon's Best Performers

WESTPORT, CT - June 3, 2014 - Just qualifying for horse shows like the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair is an accomplishment in itself, but over 120 exhibitors went the extra distance by participating in the Best Performance Competition, the new joint effort of the EQUUS Foundation that rewards competitive excellence and also supports horse welfare.

Parker, CO - June 6, 2014 - The first dressage shows of the season at the Colorado Horse Park's High Prairie Dressage I, II and III kicked off May 30-June 1 with successful results for Young Rider Devon Wycoff, and seasoned veteran, K.C. Parkins-Kyle.

Lamaze and Powerplay Make It Two in a Row In $85,000 Spectra Energy Cup 1.55m at Spruce Meadows

 

Calgary, AB, Canada – June 5, 2014 – The ‘National’ Tournament, presented by ROLEX, continued with three major competitions in the International Ring at the Spruce Meadows Summer Series. Topping the $85,000 Spectra Energy Cup 1.55m was Eric Lamaze on Powerplay, who were also yesterday’s big winners. Earlier in the day, winners included Darragh Kenny (IRL) with his first-ever International Ring victory and McLain Ward, who added another first place prize to the two he earned on Wednesday.

Lisa Goldman and Centurion B Cash In With $20,000 Open Welcome Stake Win at Showplace Spring Spectacular I

Wayne, IL - June 5, 2014 - The applause resounded throughout the Lamplight Equestrian Center as 13 horse and rider combinations faced off in the Showplace Spring Spectacular $20,000 Open Welcome Stake. It came down to a battle of speed as Lisa Goldman and Tracy Fenney went neck and neck, but Goldman and Centurion B came away the victors. Fenney laid down two impressive double-clear efforts for the second and third place positions with MTM Timon and MTM Centano, respectively.

Lisa Goldman and Centurion B Lead Open Jumpers to Kick Off Showplace Spring Spectacular I

Wayne, IL- June 4, 2014 - The Lamplight Equestrian Center was alive with exciting jumper action for the opening day of the Showplace Productions' Spring Spectacular this morning, welcoming top-tier riders to the first of the three-week series. Thirty-six horse and rider combinations tackled the first day track for the 1.30m Open jumpers, with Tracy Fenney riding to a 1-2 finish to best the rest with two clean and clear jump-offs.
