Double H Farm to Host Benefit for Orphaned Youth in Rwanda at 'Anne's Night'

The Harrison Family's scenic Double H Farm in Ridgefield, CT, will host a special charity event on September 13 to honor philanthropist Anne Heyman, who founded the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda for children orphaned by the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsis. Heyman tragically passed away this winter following a fall from her horse while competing in Wellington at the age of 52. 'Anne's Night' will feature dinner, fantastic entertainment, and a one-of-a-kind live auction to raise money to support and continue Heyman's important work with the youth of Rwanda.

USEF Announces Second USEF/USET Foundation Dressage Pipeline Clinic of 2014

Lexington, Ky. - The USEF is pleased to announce the dates and location for the second USEF/USET Foundation Dressage Pipeline Clinic. This clinic, which is made possible through a gift from USET Foundation Trustee, Betsy Juliano and Havensafe Farm, will be held October 11-12, at Epona Farm in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

"The Jump for Hope" Equestrian Aid Foundation Fundraiser Hits NYC During the Central Park Horse Show

New York, NY -  August 27 - The Jump for Hope, a fundraising event for the Equestrian Aid Foundation, will take place on Friday, September 19th at HAUS nightclub in New York City. The event will coincide with the Central Park Horse Show, presented by Rolex, which will draw an international equestrian crowd from around the world.

George H. Morris to Judge Michigan Medal Finals Followed by USHJA Trainer Certification Clinic

Temperance, MI - August 27, 2014 - Scott Alder of Temperance, MI with Stoney Ridge Farm and the Michigan Hunter Jumper Association, have arranged to have the legendary George H. Morris judge their 2014 Medal Finals and give a three-day USHJA Trainer Certification clinic. The show features the  medal championships for all levels and will be held August 29-31, 2014 with the clinic and USHJA Trainer Certification following on September 1-3, 2014 at Hunter's Run Stables.

USEF Names Nominated Entry for 2014 FEI World Driving Championships for Singles

Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation has named five drivers to the Short List/Nominated Entry for the 2014 FEI World Driving Championships for Singles. Three athlete-and-horse combinations will be selected from the following five Nominated Entries to compete as the U.S. Team at the Championships on September 24-28 in Izsak, Hungary (in alphabetical order):


Jacob Arnold (Snow Camp, N.C.) and Belle Grey Farm, LLC's Tara 14
Tara 14 is a 2002 Austrian Warmblood mare.

2015 Eventing 18 Program Participants Announced

Lexington, Ky.The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and United States Eventing Association (USEA) are pleased to announce the nine athletes that have been accepted into the 2015 Eventing 18 Program. In order to be considered for the 2015 Eventing 18 Program all individuals interested in participating in the program needed to submit an application.

Art Sale to Benefit Retired Thoroughbreds

Griffith Scores in $50,000 Clear Channel Hunter Derby at the Hampton Classic

Bridgehampton, NY, Aug. 24, 2014-Patricia Griffith, riding Black Label, won the $50,000 Clear Channel Hunter Derby, presented by Meadow View Farm, on The Atlantic Opening Day at the Hampton Classic. 

Black Label scored a total of 179 points over the two rounds to defeat Carrico (Callie Seaman, 171) and Pioneer (Victoria Colvin, 165). Some 30 horses started in the first round, with the top 12 returning for the second round.

USEF Announces Hermès as the Official Technical Riding Apparel Supplier of the United States Equestrian Teams

Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce a partnership with Hermès, as it becomes the Official Technical Riding Apparel Supplier of the United States Equestrian Teams, beginning at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The new partnership reflects the house's historic commitment to equestrianism.
