Local Equestrian Group Undertakes Restoration Project At Masterson Station Park

LEXINGTON,KY, NOVEMBER 14, 2011: It is with great excitement that the Masterson Equestrian Trust (MET) is embarking on a major renovation and repair project of two significant cross country obstacles at Masterson Station Park (MSP). Masterson Equestrian Trust Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the preservation of Masterson Station Park for use by all equestrian enthusiasts and to the improvement and enhancement of facilities and services available to the equestrian public.

Cornerstone Horsemanship Announces the North American Trainers Challenge Hosted by the IFSHA

Cornerstone Horsemanship and the International Friesian Show Horse Association are pleased to announce the first-ever IFSHA North American Trainers Challenge, a brand new showcase event at this year's World and Grand National Championship Horse Show, held at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington October 5th through 9th. The event, sponsored by Cornerstone Horsemanship and the IFSHA, will feature three women trainers from the east coast demonstrating their skills as they work with unstarted Friesian horses

Lexington Welcomes Dutch Sport Horse Trainer

Lexington, Kentucky—August 6th--Dutch sport horse trainer, Arnold Warmels has relocated his Nashville, Tennessee training site to the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington, KY. Warmels came to capture the excitement built from the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Warmels and his wife Lisa are both seasoned equestrians and were active in the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in a variety of aspects.

DVCTA Supports The Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue And The Boyd Martin Fire Recovery Fund

DVCTA ran a very successful “Dressage at Fair Hill” show on June 11 and 12, 2011at Fair Hill NRMA, Fair Hill, MD. The USDF/USEF  recognized dressage show drew competitors from the tri-state area as well as many DVCTA members, with competitive rides in two rings from 8 AM until 5 PM on both days.
