2015 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival Prepares to Host Largest Week in Competition History

Wellington, FL - January 21, 2015 - The Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) is set to host the largest week in competition history as Week 3 of CDI competition runs January 22-25 at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. The FEI Grand Prix class sponsored by the U.S. P.R.E. Association, is the highlight of Thursday's competition, followed by the largest FEI Prix St. Georges class AGDF has hosted in its four years, sponsored by Chesapeake Dressage Institute.

Williams Elected Chair of USEF High Performance Dressage Committee

Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that Elisabeth Williams has been elected as the Chair of the High Performance Dressage Committee effective immediately. Williams replaces Janet Foy as Chair of the Committee, but who will remain on the committee, and will serve the remaining two years of the term.

Cortes 'C' and Elis GV Earn 2014 Horse of the Year Titles

Lexington, Ky. - On a night dedicated to the horse, two special athletes were recognized for their excellence in 2014 during the USEF's Year End Awards Gala. In a year that witnessed equestrian athletes excel, Cortes 'C' and Ellis GV reached the pinnacle of their sports and for their achievements were named International and National Horse of the Year, respectively. Voting was open to the public through January and both horses, already fan favorites, were rewarded for their tremendous results throughout 2014 with support from voters

Madden Makes History Winning USEF Equestrian of the Year Title for Fourth Time at 2014 Pegasus Awards

Lexington, Ky. - To close out a year of milestones, Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, N.Y.) was awarded the Robert P. Strub Trophy as the 2014 USEF Equestrian of the Year at the USEF Pegasus Awards Dinner. In the process the jumping superstar again made history as the first athlete to ever earn the coveted title four times.
