Horse Shows by the Bay Supports Local and National Charities

Traverse City, MI - July 1, 2014 - While the Horse Shows by the Bay Equestrian Festival, July 2-27 at Flintfields Horse Park, draws some of the country's top horses and provides a major economic boost to the Traverse City summer economy, the show's impact doesn't stop there.

Last year, the four-week Horse Shows by the Bay Hunter/Jumper series hosted a record 1,355 competing horses from 32 states and Canada, and the direct local economic impact during the month of July exceeded $15 million.

Local Community Contributes to Virginia Horse Center Road Improvements

Within hours a Bobcat, a grader and some additional road construction equipment followed while the VHC grounds crew steadily watered the main road - a road dented with potholes and erosion.
