USET Foundation Receives $1.5 Million Gift: Naming Hamilton Farm Rotunda "The Joan and Corwith Hamill Rotunda"

Gladstone, NJ - December 11, 2014 - The United States Equestrian Team Foundation is pleased to announce the naming of the Hamilton Farm Rotunda "The Joan and Corwith Hamill Rotunda". Their commitment to equestrian sport began in the 1950s, when Joan was an integral part of the transition of the USET from the U.S. Army to civilians. This naming is made possible through a generous gift of $1.5 Million made to the Gladstone Fund by the The Hamill Family Foundation.

Chicago Equestrians for a Cause Celebrates Giving Tuesday With Presentation of Funds to Three Charities

Antioch, IL - December 6, 2014 - Members of Chicago Equestrians for a Cause (CEC) met on Giving Tuesday to present gifts to their three charities totaling $150,000. The funds were raised through the Chicago Hunter Derby presented by Canadian Pacific, which took place in September. The premier Chicago Hunter Derby at Annali-Brookwood Farm featured the $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby sponsored by Canadian Pacific and the $5,000 National Hunter Derby sponsored by Sapphire Riding Academy.

The Dressage Foundation's Carol Lavell Gifted Memorial Fund Awards $8,000 To Adult Amateur Riders

(December 9, 2014) - The Dressage Foundation is proud to announce this year's recipients of the Carol Lavell Gifted Memorial Fund Scholarships for Adult Amateurs.  Each will receive a $1,000 Scholarship to enable them to set aside quality time in concentrated training with their horse, trainer of choice, and away from the daily pressures of job and family.

George Morris Travels to Southern California for Brookway Stables Clinic

Lake View Terrace, CA - December 8, 2014 - After spending the weekend in Oregon, George Morris is traveling south for his annual clinic at Archie Cox's Brookway Stables. Scheduled for December 9th and 10th, the clinic will be held at Middle Ranch in the San Fernando Valley. The legendary horseman and coach will be instilling the foundations of good horsemanship to eager riders and auditors from South Carolina and surrounding areas.

California Dreaming Productions Announces 2015 CDI Series & Hosting of KWPN-NA Annual Meeting

Coming on the heels of a wildly-successful inaugural season in 2014, California Dreaming Productions has now announced its 2015 CDI schedule, which includes the renewal of three international dressage competitions.  The Mid-Winter Dressage Fair CDI-W/Y/J/U-25 will be held February 20 - 22 in Burbank, as well as back-to-back shows in San Juan Capistrano with the Capistrano Dressage International CDI-W/Y/J/U-25 on March 20 - 22 and the Festival of the Horse CDI 3*/Y/J/U-25, March 26 - 28.  For the first time, the Festival of the Horse and corresponding Blenheim Spring Class

Great Meadow Announces Details Of Its New Cic3* Eventing Competition

The Plains, VA – Planning for the Great Meadow International CIC3* on June 19-21, 2015 is well underway. Olympic course designer, Michael Etherington-Smith, was at Great Meadow this past weekend designing the three-star course.  Based on his visit, next year's course will run on the existing and storied steeplechase track with a loop onto the new Fleming Farm property that was purchased recently in anticipation of this event.

Florida Youth Dressage Championships Return to 2015 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival

Wellington, FL - December 4, 2014 - The Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) is pleased to announce that the 2015 Florida Youth Dressage Championships will once again be held during its competition this winter at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL. Season's Greetings Holiday Cards Support the USPEA

Wellington, FL - December 3, 2014 - In June, Scott David, of 17 Hands Gallery, donated 5% of all sales from the 2014 Lake Placid Center for the Arts Equine Art Exhibit to the United States Para-Equestrian Association (USPEA). This winter he has designed a 2014 Season's Greetings Holiday Card. The cards are 5 X 7 and each box has 10 cards with envelopes.  Retail price for cards is $20 per box of which $1 for every box sold will be donated to the USPEA.
