The Dressage Foundation Awards Continuing Education Grant To Instructor Dolly Hannon

July 10, 2014 - The Dressage Foundation's Continuing Education for Dressage Instructors Fund, established by Maryal and Charles Barnett, has awarded a grant to Dolly Hannon to attend the United States Dressage Federation's Instructor Certification Final Testing at Fort Collins, CO in October.

Derbyshire Shines During Horse Shows by the Bay

Traverse City, MI - July 9, 2014 - Although Scott Stewart is temporarily grounded after breaking his collarbone last week, his absence provided a unique opportunity for Amanda Derbyshire during Horse Shows by the Bay Series II, July 9-13.

Derbyshire, 25, a grand prix jumper rider from Leyland, Lancashire, England--who rides and trains for the Gochman family--had competed here and there in a hunter class, but before Horse Shows by the Bay she'd never competed in the Regular Conformation section.

Spectators crowded around the Derby Field to watch the feature events of the day, the $40,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby sponsored by Serenity Farm and the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. Derby horses from far and wide travelled to Colorado to compete.
