Purina Animal Nutrition Continues Feed Contributions To Horses In Need With A Home For Every Horse

St. Louis, Mo., April 16  — Purina Animal Nutrition has pledged up to $150,000 in free feed to rescue shelters through its continuing partnership with A Home for Every Horse, a program dedicated to finding homes for horses in need of adoption or fostering. For the second year in a row, Purina has pledged a base donation of $125,000.

The New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association (NYTHA) today announced the creation of "TAKE THE LEAD," a retirement program for Thoroughbreds stabled at New York Racing Association tracks. U.S. Pony Drivers Head To Southern Pines CDE With National Titles Up For Grabs

U.S. pony drivers head to Raeford, North Carolina this weekend to vie for National Titles at the Southern Pines CDE. Bragging rights will be up for grabs in the USEF National Combined Driving Single Pony Championship, USEF National Combined Driving Pair Pony Championship and USEF National Combined Driving Pony Team Championship at the annual event held April 12-14.

Rolex Riders At ‘Thoroughbreds For All’ Will Receive Recognition By The Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program

This year’s Thoroughbreds For All event will offer dinner followed by a special presentation by The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program to recognize and award the 17 riders who will be competing at Rolex on registered Thoroughbreds. The rest of the evening will consist of educational and entertaining sessions about selecting and working with off-the-track Thoroughbreds. Several well-known equestrians, such as Olympic rider Phillip Dutton and Hall of Fame Jockey Chris McCarron, will participate in the sessions.
