McCormick Leads U.S. Effort on Third Day of Vaulting at 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Caen, France - The third day of vaulting competition was another exciting one at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, with the Individual Female and Male competitors performing their Second Round Technical Tests and the Pas de Deux pairs taking to the main arena in the Zénith for the first time. The judging panel of Sue Detol, Elzbieta Dolinska, Anita Flamand, Véronique Girard, Pavla Krauspe , Anna Kull, Helma Schwarzmann, and Karolina Wickholm had their work cut out for them with another day's worth of fantastic performances.

Another Day of Solid Performances for U.S. Vaulters at 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Caen, France - The second day of vaulting consisted of the First Round Freestyle Tests for the Squads, Individual Females, and Individuals Males at the Zénith on Wednesday. The judging panel of Sue Detol (USA), Elzbieta Dolinska (POL), Anita Flamand (AUT), Véronique Girard (FRA), Pavla Krauspe (SVK), Anna Kull (SUI), Helma Schwarzmann (GER), and Karolina Wickholm (FIN) saw an array of intricate performances from the top-notch field of competitors.

U.S. Vaulters off to a Strong Start at 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Caen, France - The vaulting portion of the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games got underway Tuesday with the Squad, Individual Female, and Individual Male divisions performing their Compulsory Tests. The U.S. Vaulting Team is off to a solid start in Normandy, earning respectable scores in the world-class fields in front of the judging panel of Sue Detol (USA), Elzbieta Dolinska (POL), Anita Flamand (AUT), Véronique Girard (FRA), Pavla Krauspe (SVK), Anna Kull (SUI), Helma Schwarzmann (GER), and Karolina Wickholm (FIN) at the Zénith in Caen, France.

    New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program to Host Inaugural Hunter Pace

    Paris, KY – Sept. 4, 2014 – The inaugural New Vocations Hunter Pace will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Scheffelridge Farm in Paris, Kentucky, to support New Vocations efforts to rehab, retrain and rehome retired racehorses. The event will be ridden over a course simulating hunting terrain, and can be ridden at the speed at which one would traditionally ride to the hounds. The course, taking place on well over 100 acres, will be clearly marked and jumps will be flagged; it will include gates and water crossings (that are also optional).

    Double H Farm to Host Benefit for Orphaned Youth in Rwanda at 'Anne's Night'

    The Harrison Family's scenic Double H Farm in Ridgefield, CT, will host a special charity event on September 13 to honor philanthropist Anne Heyman, who founded the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda for children orphaned by the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsis. Heyman tragically passed away this winter following a fall from her horse while competing in Wellington at the age of 52. 'Anne's Night' will feature dinner, fantastic entertainment, and a one-of-a-kind live auction to raise money to support and continue Heyman's important work with the youth of Rwanda.
