Wichita Recruiting For State's First Interscholastic Equestrian Association Team

Dehlia Burdan, Equestrian Trainer and Board Member of Kansas Hunter Jumper Association has partnered with Aces High Acres in Wichita, Kansas to create the state’s first Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team for high school and middle school riders. The mission of the IEA is to introduce students in private and public middle and secondary schools to equestrian sports and to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction. There is no need for any rider to own a horse because competition horses are provided at each venue to the contestant.

Lexington, KY – April 1, 2015  – The United States Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the appointment of its new executive director and the implementation of other organizational changes to improve USHJA's ability to serve and meet the needs of its members. Beginning on April 6, 2015, Kevin Price, a senior level leader with many years of leadership and management experience, will join USHJA as executive director.

Tryon International Equestrian Center Increases Competition Opportunities, Offers $1.3 Million in Prize Money for 2015 Spring Series

Tryon, NC - March 21, 2015 - Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is proud to announce the beginning of the Tryon Spring Series. Starting April 2, the Tryon Spring Series will offer more than $1,300,000 in total prize money. The 2015 spring circuit will host the $50,000 WCHR Tryon Hunter Spectacular to Benefit The Tryon Equestrian Foundation, alongside more than $800,000 in prize money to be awarded in recognized FEI classes, and accompanied by two $25,000 Under 25 Grand Prix.

Best Of America By Horseback Television Show Will Lay A Wreath At The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier

Best of America by Horseback television show will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, on behalf of the entire Equine Community, on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at 12:15 pm.

Although it began as a presentation by members of the Best of America by Horseback Family, people across North America have asked for their names to be included with this wreath honoring our nation’s veterans. USA Equestrian Trust Opens 2015 Grants Program For Equine Non-Profits

March 18, 2015 — Lexington, KY — USA Equestrian Trust is pleased to announce it is now accepting proposals from IRS-registered equine non-profit organizations for its 2015 grants program. In 2014, the Trust awarded nearly $300,000 to help fund nearly 20 projects.
