Olympic and World Champions Head Impressive Entry List for 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event

Lexington, KY - April 15, 2016 - Defending champion and Olympic gold medalist Michael Jung of Germany heads an impressive list of entries for the 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, Presented by Land Rover. Known as the "Best Weekend All Year," the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event returns to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, April 28-May 1.

HAHS Celebrates ASPCA Help A Horse Day

Woodstock, IL (3/22/16) — The Hooved Animal Humane Society (HAHS) will be celebrating the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) national Help A Horse Day on April 22-24 and competing for a chance to win up to $25,000 in grant prizes to assist with their efforts to protect horses. To celebrate the day, HAHS will be attending the Minnesota Horse Expo with their rescue horse Dino and giving away free Dino autographs during the weekend of April 22-24, 2016.

Amateur Rider Association of America Seeking Jumper Division Standardization

Wellington, FL -- March 16, 2016 -- The Amateur Rider Association of America (ARAA) is working on behalf of those who compete in the Amateur divisions at horse shows across the country, seeking USEF recognition and standardization of the three Amateur-Owner Jumper divisions.  

ARAA founder and president, Ariane Stiegler, who competes in the Amateur-Owner division, hopes to increase safety and fairness for all riders and horses in the amateur division by setting standards for each of the three Amateur-Owner divisions.

USHJA Pre-Green Incentive Championship Adds Tier II Rider Bonus

Lexington, KY----March 16, 2016----The United States Hunter Jumper Association has developed a Tier II Rider Bonus for the 2016 Pre-Green Incentive Championship. Based on the successful model used in the USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship, the tiered approach will pay out $10,000 to Tier II riders on top of any Championship winnings or the existing Bonus Awards for horses.

4-H Judge Ray Hackett joins North Road Farm as Horse Behaviorist and Instructor

Fremont, NH – March 14, 2016.  Jan Brubacher owner. North Road Farm (NRF) is pleased to announce Ray Hackett has accepted the full time position of riding instructor and horse behaviorist trainer.  NRF is a riding school for beginner youth to adult students including recreational, therapeutic and competitive horsemanship.  NRF is home to the Peppermint Ponies 4-H Club.
