William Fox-Pitt Continues To Improve

An update posted on the British Eventing website on Oct. 30 noted that eventer William Fox-Pitt, who suffered a head injury in an Oct. 17 fall while competing at the Le Lion d'Angers (France), has been released from the intensive care unit of the French hospital where he's being treated.

An update posted on the British Eventing website on Oct. 30 noted that eventer William Fox-Pitt, who suffered a head injury in an Oct. 17 fall while competing at the Le Lion d’Angers (France), has been released from the intensive care unit of the French hospital where he’s being treated.

“He remains in hospital in France. His family remain hugely grateful to the fantastic team looking after him and to everyone for all the messages and support,” the British Eventing statement continued.

On Oct. 26, it was reported that Fox-Pitt had regained consciousness and was communicating and breathing on his own.
