Winston and Amintas Interagro also captured the High Score Lusitano Award, sponsored by the Lusitano CollectionTM, hosts of The 2011 Lusitano CollectionTM International Horse Auction, during the Wellington Classic Dressage Autumn Challenge.

“Amintas is an amazing horse with lots of talent and he is eager to do whatever I ask of him,” Winston said, adding that she co-owns him with Al and Sherie Zobec of Z Stallions in Palm City, Florida. “He scored a 73 percent in the FEI Six-Year-Old division at the Fall Fling and I am thrilled that his score improved at this show. He scored a 71.60% at the last show, but it is great that both times he was the High Scoring Lusitano.”

Wintson considers Amintas Interagro the “ultimate competition horse” and said he is a pleasure to train. “I like to call him ‘steady eddy’ when it comes to the shows,” Winston said. “He gets stronger every month.”

Winston said she sees the Grand Prix division in Amintas’s future, as well as becoming a breeding stallion one day. “You can’t beat his temperament,” she said, adding that the Zobecs purchased Amintas at the 2009 Lusitano CollectionTM International Horse Auction in West Palm Beach.
