Elizabeth Bailey, Jessica Barno, Charlotte Clark, Bridget Finnerty and Elizabeth Traband have been chosen to act as stable managers.

The 2014 National Training Session will be led by Olympic gold medalist Peter Wylde and expert stable manager Anne Thornbury, and will be held at the James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex at the University of Findlay.

Findlay is home to a premiere equestrian program which boasts a long history of top placings in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals. Riders who are invited to attend the National Training Session are selected based on their riding and stable management skills, written test results and potential shown during the Regional Training Sessions. For the three-and-a-half day National Training Session, the finalists ride and care for a horse provided by the host facility and assigned to them by EAP representatives.

Finalists are instructed on flatwork, over fences work, stable management and horse welfare during the National Training Session, which ends with a Nations Cup style competition to determine an overall EAP Champion.

The EAP National Training Session, presented by Dover Saddlery, is supported in part by a generous grant from the U.S. Equestrian Federation.
