USEF Offers Tour For The FEI World Dressage Championships For Young Horses

Beginning in 2013, the U.S. Equestrian Federation will provide the opportunity for a small group of riders, trainers, breeders and owners of dressage young horses to participate in a tour of the FEI World Dressage Championships for Young Horses.

Beginning in 2013, the U.S. Equestrian Federation will provide the opportunity for a small group of riders, trainers, breeders and owners of dressage young horses to participate in a tour of the FEI World Dressage Championships for Young Horses.

The 2013 championship will take place in Verden, Germany, August 7-11. The tour will be led and organized by USEF Young Horse Coach Scott Hassler and will include tickets to the dressage events as well as meetings with European experts. Participants will be responsible for their own travel, meals and hotel. USEF will assist with obtaining hotel rooms.

The tour is open to anyone who has participated in the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage National Championships as a rider, trainer, owner or breeder, with spaces reserved for but not limited to winners of each age level (4-, 5- and 6-year-old divisions) in the previous year’s national championship. Priority will also be given to those who have been a rider, trainer, owner or breeder of U.S.-bred horses.
