USEF Names Teams For CSIO Wellington

The following teams and riders have been named by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to represent the United States in Nations Cup competition during CSIO Wellington, Feb. 26-March 2.

On Feb. 28, the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla., will host some of the best horses and riders from across the globe as they vie for top honors in the $75,000 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup.

The following teams and riders have been named by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to represent the United States in Nations Cup competition during CSIO Wellington, Feb. 26-March 2.

On Feb. 28, the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla., will host some of the best horses and riders from across the globe as they vie for top honors in the $75,000 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup.

On March 1, the International Arena will showcase the future of the sport in the $10,000 FEI Young Riders Nations Cup, the $2,500 FEI Junior Riders Nations Cup, and the FEI Childrens’ Nations Cup.

Senior Rider Team

The United States will be represented by the following four riders in the $75,000 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup, listed alphabetically:

Brianne Goutal (New York, N.Y.)

Laura Kraut (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.)

Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, N.Y.)

McLain Ward (Brewster, N.Y.)

Robert Ridland will serve as chef d’equipe for the senior rider team.

Spectators and fans in attendance are invited to a Team USA Nations Cup Pep Rally Reception, hosted by the USET Foundation and the USEF, from 6-7 p.m. on Feb. 28. To learn more about this event visit the USEF website

Young Rider Team

The United States will be represented by the following four riders in the $10,000 FEI Young Riders Nation Cup, listed alphabetically:

Michael Hughes (Allendale, N.J.)

Lillie Keenan (New York, N.Y.)

Frances Land (Alpharetta, Ga.)

Wilton Porter (Bartonville, Texas)

Junior Rider Team

The United States will be represented by the following four riders in the $2,500 FEI Junior Riders Nations Cup:

Victoria Colvin (Loxahatchee, Fla.)

Chloe Reid (Washington, D.C.)

Hayley Waters (Sparr, Fla.) 

Child Rider Team

The United States will be represented by the following four riders in the FEI Childrens’ Nations Cup:

Madison Goetzmann (Skaneateles, N.Y.)

Sophie Howell (Wellington, Fla.)

McKayla Langmeier (East Granby, Conn.)

Addison Piper (Wellington, Fla.)

DiAnn Langer will serve as chef d’equipe for the young rider, junior rider and child rider teams.
