USEF Names Ranked Alternates For World Games Eventing Team

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has ranked the six alternates for the squad for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Additionally, the top three ranked combinations will serve as traveling reserves to the squad.

The following combinations will serve as alternates for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team (in ranked order):

Marilyn Little (Frederick, Md.) and Team Demeter's RF Demeter.

Hannah Sue Burnett (The Plains, Va.) and Jacqueline Mars' Harbour Pilot.

Meghan O'Donoghue (Carbondale, Ill.) and her own Pirate.

Phillip Dutton (West Grove, Pa.) and Bruce Duchossois’ Mighty Nice.

Buck Davidson (Ocala, Fla.) and Carl and Cassandra Segal’s Park Trader.

Boyd Martin (Cochranville, Pa.) and the Trading Aces LLC’s Trading Aces.

As traveling reserves, Little, Burnett and O’Donoghue will accompany the team to France. Dutton and Davidson will also bring Mighty Nice and Park Trader along with their squad horses, Trading Aces and Ballynoe Castle RM, to France to continue preparation for the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials CCI****, Sept. 4-7 in Stamford, England.

Alternate Lauren Kieffer withdrew Team Rebecca LLC’s Veronica from the selection process and will re-route to the Les Étoiles de Pau CCI****, Oct. 22-26 in France.
