U.S. Riders Dominate At Achleiten CDI

Achleiten, Austria—June 6  

U.S. riders made quite a splash in the Prix St. Georges class at the Achleiten CDI, while Steffen Peters followed up his win in the Grand Prix with victory in the Grand Prix freestyle. Peters and Rosamunde scored an 80.97 percent to take the blue over Victoria Max-Thuerer of Austria on Eichendorff and Marcela Krinke Susmelj of Switzerland on Smeyers Molberg. Kathleen Raine of the U.S. was fourth on Breanna, scoring a 75.50 percent.

In the Prix St. Georges, four U.S. riders claimed the top four spots in the class. Kimberly Herslow took the victory on Rosmarin (72.10%), Kasey Perry rode to second on Goerklintgaards Dublet (71.94%), Sabine Schut-Kery claimed third on Sanceo (71.73%) and Olivia Lagoy-Weltz finished in fourth aboard Lonoir (71.47%).

The young Rosamunde continued her streak of success with a win in the Grand Prix freestyle with Steffen Peters.


Steffen Peters and Rosamunde followed up their Grand Prix win at the Achleiten CSI with victory in the Grand Prix freestyle as well.


Second place in the Prix St. Georges went to the U.S. rider Kasey Perry on Goerklintgaards Dublet.

Sabine Schut-Kery rode Sanceo to third in the Achleiten Prix St. Georges.


Fourth place in the Achleiten Prix St. Georges went to Olivia Lagoy Weltz on Lonoir.


Breanna and Kathleen Raine’s Grand Prix freestyle performance at Achleiten earned them fourth place.
