U.S. Horse Cristallo Tops FEI WBFSH World Ranking List

Richard Spooner’s grand prix show jumper Cristallo, who is owned by Show Jumping Syndications Ltd., has topped the Fédération Equestre Internationale ranking list for the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses in June.

Cristallo, a 14-year-old German-bred Holsteiner (Caretino—Cambrina, Cicero) and Spooner have picked up top placings at five-star CSIs such as Spruce Meadows (Alberta), Wiesbaden (Germany), Paris and La Coruna (Spain) in the last nine months.

Cristallo was placed second in the FEI WBFSH rankings for May, behind Casall La Silla, the ride of Rolex No. 1 ranked rider Rolf Goran-Bengtsson of Sweden. Both Cristallo and Casall La Silla are by Caretino.

Fellow U.S. horse Flexible, the 2012 Rolex FEI World Cup winner with Rich Fellers, is ranked 10th.
