Twelve U.S. Riders Head to Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final

Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) will be well represented at the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final April 17-21 as 12 American show jumpers will head to Lyon, France for the 2014 Final.

Lexington, Ky. – The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) will be well represented at the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final April 17-21 as 12 American show jumpers will head to Lyon, France for the 2014 Final.

 

As the reigning FEI World Cup Jumping Final champion, Beezie Madden is pre-qualified to defend her title in Lyon.

 

Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, N.Y.) will ride Abigail Wexner’s Simon.

Simon is a 1999 Dutch Warmblood gelding.  

 

After 24 North American World Cup Qualifying Events throughout the 2013-2014 season, the following riders have qualified in this order in their respective Leagues:

 

North America East Coast League:

 

Kent Farrington (Wellington, Fla.) will ride Amalaya Investments’ Willow and Voyeur

Willow is a 2003 KWPN gelding.

Voyeur is a 2002 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

 

McLain Ward (Brewster, N.Y.) will ride Sagamore Farms’ Rothchild and Double H Farm’s HH Carlos Z.

Rothchild is a 2001 Warmblood gelding.

HH Carlos Z is a 2002 Zangersheide gelding.

Katie Dinan (Wellington, Fla.) will ride Grant Road Partners LLC’s Nougat du Vallet.

Nougat du Vallet is a 2001 Selle Francais gelding.

 

Brianne Goutal (New York, N.Y.) will ride Remarkable Farms LP’s Nice de Prissey and Zernike K.

Nice de Prissey is a 2001 Selle Francais stallion.

Zernike K is a 2004 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

 

Leslie Burr-Howard (Darian, Conn.) will ride Jane Clark’s Tic-Tac.

Tic-Tac is a 2003 Belgian Sport Horse stallion.

 

Charlie Jayne (Elgin, Ill.) will ride Alex Jayne and Maura Thatcher’s Chill R Z.

Chill R Z is a 2003 Zangersheide stallion.

 

Charlie Jacobs will ride CMJ Sporthorse, LLC’s Flaming Star.

Flaming Star is a 1999 Irish gelding.

 

North America West Coast League:

 

Saer Coulter (San Francisco, Calif.) will ride Copernicus Stables, LLC’s Springtime and Carmena Z.

Springtime is a 1999 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

Carmena Z is a 2000 Zangersheide stallion.

 

Ashlee Bond Clarke (Hidden Hills, Calif.) will ride Little Valley Farms’ Chela LS and Klatte Zuchtoff & Little Valley Farms’ Agrostar

Chela LS is a 2004 La Silla mare.

Agrostar is a 2004 Oldenburg stallion.

 

Jenni Martin-McAllister (Sun Valley, Calif.) will ride Granville Equine’s Casseur de Prix.

Casseur de Prix is a 1999 Holsteiner gelding.

 

Additionally, Lucy Davis has qualified as an extra athlete out of the Western European League.

 

Lucy Davis (Los Angeles, Calif.) will ride Old Oak Farm’s Barron.

Barron is a 2004 Belgian Warmblood gelding.
