Kennett Square, PA:   Come join us on July 17, 2011!

This Chasin’ team is never ending and the fundraising is fabulous! We are all so dedicated to raise funds for injured steeplechase jockey, Jake Chalfin.

Chasin’ for Chalfin, a group of close friends and family was established to help with fundraising for Jake, who was severely injured when he fell at the Blue Ridge Fall Races in Berryville, Va., on September 18, 2010. As a result of his extensive injuries, Jake is now paralyzed from the chest down and is facing significant long-term expenses in excess of $1 million that is needed for his care.

To date, there have been four fundraisers, Stealin the start, an historical hunt with Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds, Proceeds from a race night at the Whip Tavern, an evening of dancing, food, libations and auction at the Green Spring Valley Hunt club in Maryland.
