Reid Patton put in an equally impressive performance, riding her Bikini Beach to the top of both medium pony hunter classes to take an early lead in the division.  The Arabian-Welsh cross lay second after the jumping portion of the conformation class, but judges Jimmy Clapperton, Carlton Brooks and Linda Andrisani promoted the pair to the top spot ahead of Kara Chad and Heart’s Desire after the conformation phase.

Chloe Reid picked up ribbons aboard all three of her gray small ponies in the first small pony class of the show, winning the blue on Snowbird.  The conformation class belonged to Chansonette Farm’s Ingenue, ridden by Allison Toffolon. Ingenue and Toffolon finished right behind Snowbird in the first class, putting them in strong position to vie for the small title.

Pony hunters continue tomorrow morning with the under saddle starting at 7:30 a.m.
