Wellington, FL (April 21, 2011) – Niemi Dressage’s beautifully appointed stall and tack area at the Gold Coast Dressage Finale helped owner and trainer Elizabeth Niemi take home the Classic Equine Stall and Tack Room Award. Sponsored by Classic Equine Equipment, a nationally recognized leader in quality horse stall systems and stable accessories, the Classic Equine Stall and Tack Room Award was awarded at a variety of dressage and jumping shows during the Florida winter show season.

Niemi, who spends six months in Wellington and six months in New York, was thrilled to be recognized for her barn’s home-away-from-home stabling area. “I think it is important to have a nice sitting area at the show and it should not only be nice looking but offer an inviting atmosphere,” she said. “I am sponsored by Oakcroft Custom Stable Accessories and they supply all my hardwood products like trunks and flower boxes and I am also sponsored by Custom House Equestrian and they supply me with my horse clothing so everything matches. It makes it a nice finishing touch.”

Niemi thanked Classic Equine for sponsoring the award and said she always enjoys her time in south Florida. “We’ve had a great season this year. I haven’t shown a lot but I have trained a lot and worked with Steffen Peters with my horse Sting. I have four new horses that we imported from Germany in January so I will be excited to come back down next year and put together a good show season,” she said.
