More Winning…And A Wedding

It is not Thanksgiving yet, but I have just so much to be thankful for! It is never a wrong time to reflect on the positive things in life, right!?

Since the last blog I wrote, we went to the Region 4 Championships. My boys were awesome. Wakey won the Intermediaire B and Grand Prix, and Willie was second in the Grand Prix and won the Grand Prix Freestyle. I was stoked.

Since the last blog I wrote, we went to the Region 4 Championships. My boys were awesome. Wakey won the Intermediaire B and Grand Prix, and Willie was second in the Grand Prix and won the Grand Prix Freestyle. I was stoked.

My client horses were also great. Toric won the fourth level regionals and the young horses, Floretienne and Quantum Jazz, had some amazing moments… and some baby moments.

Then my two girls, Madison and Mackenzie Peer, both won their seat medal classes! Other students also did very well, but the best part was the grazing party where everyone intermingled and got to know new people. So after regionals I am thankful that I have the opportunity to ride really great horses, clients who are fun and hardworking, owners that are understanding and look for more than ribbons, and friends that can really spice up a grazing party.

We also had another Lilo clinic. She was awesome as usual, but this time it was really fun to get the behind-the-scenes impressions of the WEG. It is fantastic that we have such amazing clinicians coming to the Midwest and that is a function of our great organizers and hosts. I am thankful to have learning opportunities and camaraderie that these clinics bring.

Last, but not least, Jeff and I got married! It was an absolutely amazing time in Vermont amongst beautiful fall foliage and amazing friends and family. My grandfather and four relatives from Germany were able to make the trip and join the party. Family, friends and love were in abundance. I am so ecstatic to have Jeff in my life and I eagerly look forward to where our lives take us.

I would venture to say that love is the most important thing in life and I’m definitely thankful for that!
