The dates and locations of the four U.S. Hunter Jumper Association Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships have been announced.
They are as follows:
The North Regional Championships for Zones 1, 2 and 5 will be held Sept. 4-7 at Hits-on-the Hudson VIII in Saugerties, N.Y.
The South Regional Championships for Zones 3 and 4 will be held June 19-23 at Atlanta Summer Classic II in Conyers, Ga.
The Central Regional Championships for Zones 6 and 7 will be held July 24-28 at GO Show in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The West Regional Championships for Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be held Sept. 24-29 at Sacramento International Welcome Week in Rancho Murieta, Calif.
Competitions will be held for teams and/or individual riders. A team will consist of a minimum of three horse-and-rider combinations, but not more than four. The number of teams that each state may send to the championship will be determined by the number of children’s jumper riders and adult amateur jumper riders residing in a state the previous year. As an example, a state with fewer than 150 children’s jumper riders will be permitted one team.
Rider application and $30 application fee is due no later than April 15 to the USHJA.
