Dates of the spring series include the Kentucky Spring Horse Show that run May 9-13 and Kentucky Spring Classic held May 16-20 at the Kentucky Horse Park, host of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. These shows would not be possible without their many generous sponsors including Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Hallway Feeds, Audi of Lexington, Johnson Horse Transportation, Farm Vet, Dietrich Insurance and Sleepy P Ranch.

Hagyard Equine Medical Institute of Lexington, KY, was founded in 1876. The practice, which is located directly across from the Kentucky Horse Park, is one of the oldest and largest equine veterinary practices in the world and is known for its excellence in veterinary medicine. The Hagyard Sport Horse Program, a specialized department at the practice, serves the nation’s top sport horse athletes and brings the same level of excellent care to high performance horses that the institute has provided for the race horse and breeding industries for decades. Once again, the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will be sponsoring the seven-part Hagyard Challenge Series, which concludes with the presentation of the Hagyard Leading Rider Bonus.

“Hagyard Equine Medical Institute is very excited to be involved with the Kentucky Horse Shows this year because the first week is an Observation Event for the U.S. Show Jumping Team,” noted Dr. Stuart Brown, President of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. “We are happy to support this national level of competition through the Hagyard Challenge Series, and we are looking forward to watching the country’s top horse and riders compete during these events.”
