Lexington, Va. – November 20, 2014 – The show season in Virginia is about to wind down for the winter, but not before some end of season holiday fun at the Hear the Beat Christmas Edition Horse Show! The end of the year celebratory horse show will be held on December 13, 2014 in the indoor Anderson Coliseum at the Virginia Horse Center.

From the “Santa’s Little Helpers” Leadline Class to the Open Ugly Sweater Class (judged on way of going and the sweater), the Hear the Beat Christmas Edition Horse Show is all about having fun and getting in the holiday spirit – including the spirit of giving. The one-day event is presented by Hoofbeats Therapeutic Riding, Inc., and all proceeds from the horse show go directly to the therapeutic riding program.

In addition to a full line-up of both English and Western classes, the Hear the Beat Horse Show will include a Christmas Bazaar, a farmers market and a silent auction, all just in time for holiday baking and a little Christmas shopping!

After riders are done showing and shopping they can participate in the show’s “warm-up class.” Forget your typical schooling class, this “warm-up” is a hot bowl of chili with all the fixings enjoyed on the concourse of the Anderson Coliseum.
