Senoia, GA – March 24, 2014 –  Legendary horseman and coach George Morris will be heading to Georgia in April to start his spring clinic schedule at the Willow Dell Equestrian Center. Thanks to Jamie Mann, Morris will be teaching at the venue April 4-6, 2014 to instill the foundations of good horsemanship in the riders and auditors.

After retiring as Chef d’Equipe of the United States Show Jumping Team, Morris has set his sights on developing the future of the sport by conducting clinics around the world.  Focusing on helping riders develop correct form and function, Morris has often been referred to as the founding father of hunt seat equitation. Second to none, his teachings, technique and style are revered around the world. Over the course of his career, Morris has been highly successful as a rider, coach, clinician, author and judge.

“I was fortunate enough to ride with George during my young, professional career,” explained Mann. “I am bringing him back to Georgia so that others can enjoy that opportunity. The first clinic he ever gave was in Georgia, and he is returning to this area again. It’s a small community, and we are trying to build up the industry here. George is the best in the business.”

While the spots to participate as a rider in the clinic filled up immediately, auditor positions are still available to gain knowledge from the esteemed Morris through observation. A waiting list is also available for riders should a spot become available. Auditor spots are $100 each, and there will be a Hospitality Tent, sponsored by Southern Charm Feed and staged by Relics Antiques, open to riders and select guests.
