Four-star event rider William Fox-Pitt and his wife, Alice Plunkett, welcomed their third child, a girl, into their family on Oct. 30.
According to a Twitter post by Plunkett (@aliceplunkett), the baby girl, who has yet to be named, was born at 9 pounds, 1 ounce.

The baby girl joins her brothers Oliver, 6, and Thomas, 5, in the horse-centered family. Fox-Pitt and Plunkett run a horse training facility in Dorset, England, and Plunkett works in broadcast journalism as a horse racing reporter.
The new baby overshadows Fox-Pitt’s fourth-placed finish in the Pau CCI**** (France) this past weekend on Bay My Hero and his fifth-placed finish on Chilli Morning. This baby girl couldn’t come at a more perfect time as Pau concluded Fox-Pitt’s eventing season.
