Five Fewer Will Advance To Final Phase At Rolex Kentucky

Only 27 horses will advance to show jumping at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** this afternoon.

Two riders—Sara Kozumplik (Manolo Blahnik, 27th) and Marilyn Little-Meredith (RF Rovano Rex, 10th)—withdrew before this morning’s final horse inspection.

The ground jury held four horses for re-inspection: both of Michael Pollard’s mounts, Wonderful Will (28th) and Icarus (19th), Heather Morris’ Slate River (13th) and Barb Crabo’s Eveready (29th).

Wonderful Will passed upon his second jog, while Icarus and Slate River were withdrawn before re-inspection. The jury did not accept Eveready.
