Field Services Division Opens At New England Equine Medical & Surgical Center, PLLC

The veterinarians at New England Equine announce the opening of their extensive equine preventative and emergency services in the field. Services include, but are not limited to, preventative medicine such as vaccinations, dentistry, wound management, lameness evaluation, pregnancy/breeding exams, and minor surgeries.

The veterinarians at New England Equine announce the opening of their extensive equine preventative and emergency services in the field. Services include, but are not limited to, preventative medicine such as vaccinations, dentistry, wound management, lameness evaluation, pregnancy/breeding exams, and minor surgeries.

“Our mobile service emphasizes health maintenance procedures, but our clinicians are capable of addressing many equine health issues and conditions that occur in the field,” states Katy Raynor, DVM. The full-service care and consultation provided by Dr. Raynor and colleague Rachel Roemer, DVM also covers prepurchase exams, emergency care, blood analysis, and equine physical therapy.

Routine calls are scheduled Monday – Friday from 8a EST to 5p EST and emergency care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients requiring more advanced or specialized care will be referred to colleagues in the medical & surgical center.

New England Equine Medical & Surgery Center is a private veterinary referral hospital and practice. The 35,000 square foot, state-of the art facility includes two full surgical suites, neonatal intensive care unit, full service lab, a digital radiography suite, medicine barn with stall space and ICU care, 4-stall isolation unit, surgery and lameness barns with stall space for 18 horses, and a separate image center.
