Jump-offs don’t get much closer than the one between Great Britain’s Ben Maher aboard Urico and Lauren Hough on Ohlala in the $125,000 Horseware Ireland Grand Prix CSI*** on March 15 at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Fla.
“I had the lucky draw again to watch all of the riders go, and Lauren was very quick,” said Maher. “I just did what I could do, and kind of wanted to get to the last fence as fast as possible. I said to Lauren, it looked like it was coming in slow motion, and luckily I was just fast enough.”
