A new equestrian-themed reality show Swapping Saddles, by Royal Champion Supplements, will premiere on Oct. 15 at the Royal Champion website and on Royal Champion’s YouTube page.

The first episode of Swapping Saddles will feature a barrel racer competing against a jumper to see who can dominate the other’s sport within the specified guidelines. Riders will first participate in their respective disciplines, and then the saddles will be swapped, with each rider trying their hand at something completely new. Overall scores will be totaled, and the winner will take home prize money and bragging rights. Horses and riders will be put to the ultimate test when taken out of their comfort zone and forced to compete with little time to practice.

As the competition heats up, the cameras document not only the technical difficulties of each discipline, but also the lighthearted and humorous moments that unfold as the competitors work with trainers in a discipline they have never tried before. With riding styles, clothing and, of course, saddles that are completely foreign to the riders, viewers are guaranteed to see unpredictable moments, competitive drama and plenty of horses.
