12 May, 2011 – Montreal, Quebec – At the 2011 Rolex Kentucky three-day event, seven of the riders who placed in the top 10 rode in ECOGOLD saddle pads. ECOGOLD products, including their cross-country boots, were spotted on several other 2011 Rolex Kentucky competitors.
“Two years ago nobody at Rolex was riding in our products, so we’ve come a long way in a very short time,” said Patricia Da Silva of ECOGOLD. “Whether they finished or not, it is an achievement in itself to enter a four-star competition and for us, a great source of pride, seeing our products on so many top horses.”
The Rolex Kentucky three-day event provided an exciting opportunity for ECOGOLD to showcase their high-tech saddle pads and horse boots. Sponsored by ECOGOLD, top-placing US rider Sinead Halpin finished third overall riding Manoir du Carneville. She said, “I will not go cross country in a pad other than the ECOGOLD saddle pad!
