Colorado Horse Park Adds Colorado Mid-Summer Show to Line-Up, Featuring $75,000 Grand Prix

Parker, CO - May 11, 2015 - The Colorado Horse Park (CHP) is pleased to announce they have added the Mid-Summer Show to its line-up. Falling between its Summer in the Rockies Series III & IV, the Colorado Mid-Summer Show will be taking place June 24- 28, 2015. With the addition of this new show, CHP is proud to be able to offer even more prize money and top classes for this year's events.

Parker, CO – May 11, 2015 – The Colorado Horse Park (CHP) is pleased to announce they have added the Mid-Summer Show to its line-up. Falling between its Summer in the Rockies Series III & IV, the Colorado Mid-Summer Show will be taking place June 24- 28, 2015. With the addition of this new show, CHP is proud to be able to offer even more prize money and top classes for this year’s events. General admission is free to the public, and CHP’s Colorado Mid-Summer Show will give competitors the chance to stay and enjoy the Parker area for an extended time period while enjoying further competition.

CHP’s Colorado Mid-Summer Show will feature a $75,000 Grand Prix taking place on Sunday, June 28, 2015. VIP tickets are available for the event. Sunday’s tentative highlights also include a $10,000 High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic (a Show Jumping Hall of Fame Event) as well as a $5,000 Low Junior/Amy Jumper Classic. Sunday will also feature three tentative classics in the Derby Field: a $2,000 Low Children’s Jumper, a $2,000 Low Adult Jumper and a $2,000 Modified Children/Adult Jumper Classic. 

Saturday will feature the USEF Talent Search, a $1,500 Junior Hunter Classic, and a $1,000 Green Pony Classic. This exciting week of competition offers levels for all hunters and jumpers alike in a beautiful facility overlooking the picturesque Rocky Mountains.

Matt Cyphert of North Lake, TX, Owner and Trainer at Woodhill Farm, has been attending the Colorado Horse Park for almost 20 years as a competitor. “[The Colorado Horse Park] offers a top-level environment to show horses, but with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. [The area] also offers a lot of other activities for the rest of the family and for riders to enjoy on their day off,” said Cyphert. “[This year], I am looking forward to the improvements made by the new owners and the added prize money for all the classes, especially the Grand Prixs.”­
