Cash the Clydesdale went for a solo tour of the ring the morning before his big performance with the rest of the Budweiser hitch.

Marilyn Little has found quite the competitive partner in Corona 93–the two of them topped both the $35,000 Live Oak International 1.50-meter class and the $100,000 Longines FEI Live Oak CSI-W***.

Don’t forget about Marilyn Little’s other rides, like the stallion Clear Water—he turned in a fourth place finish behind his barn mate Corona 93, and jumped in fine form all weekend.

For the 13th year in a row, Chester Weber took the USEF four-in-hand national championship.

A farrier was on hand at the in-gate for any horses caring to have their nails done for this special occasion.

Adam Prudent may ride for the family’s Plain Bay Sales farm in Middleburg, Va., but his mount Vasco was anything but plain. The pair won the $35,000 Sovaro speed class opening day of the Live Oak International horse show, one of Prudent’s two wins on the first day of Live Oak.

The parking situation is “go rogue at your own risk” at the Live Oak International—the mounted sheriff’s department was on hand to trot after cars ignoring signage or direction in the grass field doubling as a parking lots.

The horse show had plenty of its mascots planted around the property, much to the delight of the younger spectators.

Marilyn Little and Corona 93 stole the spotlight this weekend, but her barn mate Venus (pictured) also competed, placing sixth in the $10,000 Waldron Private Wealth power and speed class.

This good looking wagon emblazoned with the Live Oak logo was parked in the corner of the ring all weekend.

Vasco and Adam Prudent took beating the clock to a whole new level, logging a time over five seconds faster than the rest of the field in the $35,000 Sovaro speed class.

The live oak trees were joined by some palm trees in creating the picturesque setting for the show.

You’d be hard pressed to find a horse show with a more beautiful walk to the ring.

A stand of palm trees made sure the live oaks didn’t get all the credit for the natural beauty the Live Oak International horse show had to offer (Adam Prudent jumps Vasco below them here).
